Opera Festival at the Arena of Verona

The Opera Festival, started on 1913, has become one of the institutions that make Verona one of the main artistic point able to attract a significant number of tourists and musicians.

The timing of the opera season usually begins in mid-June, with performances like Aida, that remains the most popular and famous, thanks to the music of Giuseppe Verdi, but also Carmen by Bizet, Tosca by Giacomo Puccini Turandot and Nabucco.
